Great for those hot summer days when you just don’t feel like cooking!
1 c Almond milk
1 c frozen fruit (mango, berries, banana all work great)
1/2 c plain 0% fat Greek yogurt (for protein)
1/2 c vanilla yogurt (for flavor and sweetness)
1 tbsp ground flax
1 tbsp flax or hemp oil
After training and completing a half marathon I was still disappointed with my results on the scale and with the measuring tape. Feeling that my hard work deserved better, I decided to take a closer look at my nutrition and found Alison and Lifewise.
While I was surprised to hear her first assessment ‘You need to eat more food’ I decided it was worth a try, I’d already tried other ‘plans’ and ‘diets’ with little success.

Thanks and kudos to Alison at LifeWise, for helping me lose the extra weight I had gained in my mid 50s. Prior to meeting with Alison, I had tried different programs but nothing worked. She made it simple, teaching me to track my daily protein, starch, dairy, fruit and veggie intake. This has now become second nature to me and my weight is once again within my own control. As well, the information and recipes I received were to the point and easy to execute. I highly recommend her program to anyone who wants to feel comfortable in their own skin again.
